The Bonus Level?
What was the point of the bonus level? I never noticed it all the way in back there before. Could the devs just not find a way to fit it into the story? And then there's the dialouge at the end between two guys doing some sort of Satanic Ritual on that girl, none of which characters we've never seen at which point. I thought there was boss battle about to go down, but nope. The whole thing left me feeling uncomfortable. What are your thoughts on it?

I can't recall the dialoge at the moment, but I think that the two men performing the satanic ritual are supposed be the two developers, sort of poking fun at themselves with the whole level just being a way to throw themselves into their game world with some dark comedy. Could be wrong though.

I think it is what it is: A neat little bonus level as a reward for beating the game, and not much more than that.

Pretty sure it's supposed to be people from Venus Patrol, as the level is covered with the Venus Patrol symbol.

I played bonus level with french translation mask which called as "phil". If anyone here know french, please translate this:
-SALUT, JE SUIS WILEY WIGGINS
-BIENVENUE A FATASTIC ARCADE
these are the lines at the end of the level. as far as I know salute is greetings and wiley wiggins is http://www.wileywiggins.com/ :)

Fantastic Arcade is an indie game festival, whose creative director is Willy Wiggins, and named Hotline Miami as "Most Fanastic" in 2012.
