All chapters locked again, and all masks 'UNAVAILABLE'.

Title says it all, I guess. I bought the game last night, played it quite a bit (loved it), but now all the chapters I unlocked are locked again, and all of my masks are listed as 'UNAVAILABLE' (including the first one, so I can't actually replay the game to unlock all of the stuff I had). So, any ideas about what's wrong?

To fix the mask problem, open the 'saves' file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\hotline_miami with notepad, and change the 0's in the first line to 1's.
I am unsure however which line of code is for the levels however. If noone else is able to help with this I'll experiment later and find out for you.

Thanks for the help, everyone. That stuff worked, but I set it so only the first level and first mask are unlocked, I don't want to have everything unlocked; I might be tempted to skip ahead a bit or use a special mask that I shouldn't have.

For me, this works great on the original version, but the new updated version is still bugged. And ideas or just play original, what's the difference?

Updated is way better than original (bugfixes, achievements not glitched, resolution siwtch, windowed mode...).
