Possible fix for No Audio/Error in Action 1

For anyone having errors either with no audio or the "Error in action number 1" I have a possible solution for you. Navigate to your Windows folder "C:\Windows\System32\" and COPY "dinput.dll" and "dinput8.dll". Paste these two files into your Hotline Miami install folder "\SteamApps\common\hotline_miami" and it should fix your problems.

This worked for me, too, AFTER I rebooted my PC. Then, when I updated the Steam client today, I got the same error message again when starting Hotline Miami. Back to square one I guess.

Well that fixed the audio problem for me, but it seemed to have disabled steamworks for the game... I don't know about you, but I like to get achievements and be able to talk to friends while playing games...

Have you both tried restarting your systems? It didn't work until I done a full reboot.
