[Mac] Can't play Bonus Chapter

I just finished playing Hotline Miami on my Mac, and I have to say it lived up to all my expectations. The Mac version worked pretty much flawlessly except for one thing I just came across: bonus chapter seems to freeze up the game.

I've tried to play chapter Highball two times now. Both times the screen has gone black after the title screen. The music keeps playing but nothing happens, and I've had to force quit the program. Has anyone else experienced this, and do you know if there's a fix available/to be expected?

MacBook Pro, OSX 10.6.8, 2.4 GHz i5, NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M if that helps. Thanks!
