Whats the diference with Die Hard (NES)?
I want to buy this game because of all the overwhelming positive reviews but not sure yet. I mean, i played Die Hard on NES and lol-ed with the AVGN review of that game.

I barely can see any diference on these both games... so... what makes Hotline Miami a better game than Die Hard?

you basically one shot enemies(except bosses) and they all one shot you. so nah its different by a lot. you wont get to sit there exchanging swings with dudes like shown on this video. also the music is way better

Hotline Miami is fast-paced and very challenging since it's a "die & retry" where you can get one shot exactly like the guys you smash. Its style, music and atmosphere are typically retro/80s and it features over-the-top violence and gore much in the vein of Tarantino's Kill Bill.

If you like hard games that do not try to hold your hand and are not afraid to get stuck for half an hour on the same level, getting killed every 20 seconds only to press R and restart (just like Super Meat Boy for example), then this game is definitely for you.

This is a very tactical and timing based game. You have to decide what the most effeicent way to take down every enemy in a house. There may be mulitple enemy in a room. Some may be patroling together while others may be sitting or interacting with something (like taking a leak)

So say you don't have a gun and need to take out three guys in a room.

So you may have to door smash the second guy patroling when he walks by. Smash another with your weapon then hurl your weapon at the gunman sitting on the couch before he reacts. While finishing them off before they get up. I love the Manhunt series this game reminds me of a retro 8-bit version of that except your a contract killer.
