Final Chapter
So far this is an awesome game. But who came on the idea to turn the bossfight into a damn ragegame? No savepoints? Ninja Girl can throw through walls but we cant? And then the machine pistols? And honestly, the song for this one isn' the best one. I'm digging the OST, it sounds very unique, but this one sounds just..."roughed up", but that's just my personal opinion though.

The boss is just like a typical boss in a typical game: it has a pattern that is easy to counter once you found how :)

I actually really loved the final boss fight, it feels like you are actually in a really bad spot and the smallest of mistake will take your life, so you have to do just perfectly. The music also amplifies that feeling.

The boss fight, as you have guessed, is split up in 3 stages:
  1. Panthers
  2. Ninja Girl
  3. Russian Boss
You obviously need to rush and grab the trophy as soon as possible after the initial dialogue.



The two Panthers will be called LeftP and RightP depending on their initial position on the screen. Their behavior is quite simple:
  1. (Panther stage starts) [INVINCIBLE] Immobile;
  2. (While not hit, for ~4 seconds) Move slowly towards the player;
  3. (While not hit, after ~4 seconds) Run and pounce on the player (just like Dogs in previous levels);
  4. (After being hit once) [INVINCIBLE] Immobile, paw swipe;
  5. (After swipe) Run and pounce on the player;
  6. (After being hit twice) Die.
Take note that they are invincible while not moving (either at the start or while performing the swipe). Also note that you can bypass state 3 if you hit the Panther while it is still in 2 (it will jump to 4 immediately).
The only difference between LeftP and RightP is that LeftP switches from state 1 to 2 after 0.5 seconds, while RightP starts moving only after 4 seconds.
One VERY IMPORTANT information: the Panthers will only move towards you if they see you, HOWEVER it has no effect on their behavior. Even when they don't see you, the time counters for each state are still running, which means that if you hide behind the pillar and show up yourself after 10 seconds, both Panthers will be in state 3 and immediately pounce on you even if you didn't see them go through state 2.
Finally, if at any point you are too close to a Panther, no matter which state, she will kill you instantly: pay your respects and use the trophy range to your advantage (you don't need to be right on top of them).

You have 3 strategies to deal with the Panthers:
  • Hide-and-seek strategy: After grabbing the trophy, hide behind the pillar and show yourself round the corner in very tiny intervals to bait the Panthers. Hit them when they are close enough, avoid the swipes and repeat.
  • Come-and-get-me strategy: After grabbing the trophy, go out in the open like a man, stop moving and just hold down the left mouse button. The Panthers will get hit when they are close enough and since their swipe has a lower reach than your trophy swipe, they won't be able to hit you back.
  • Speedrun strategy: This is the fastest strategy (hence its use in speedruns), but it's the most difficult one. Immediately after grabbing the trophy, rush LeftP and hit her ONCE. Stay out of range of her swipe and position yourself so that you and RightP form a central symmetry around LeftP. While LeftP performs her swipe, RightP will start moving towards you, overlapping on top of LeftP as she finishes her swipe. At that moment you can move in and strike both Panthers with one trophy swipe, killing LeftP and forcing RightP into performing her swipe, and kill her right after. You can find an example here.


Ninja Girl behavior is even more simple:
  1. (While in Panther stage) [INVINCIBLE] Immobile, will throw a shuriken at you if you try to go past her;
  2. (Ninja Girl stage starts) Run towards the player;
  3. (When in Katana range) Katana swipe;
  4. (After being hit once) Drop to the floor;
  5. (After being hit twice) Crawl to the top-right corner, then crawl around the room in a counter-clockwise motion;
  6. (After being hit thrice) Drop 3 knives, die.
Since the Katana has a longer reach than your trophy swipe you can't afford to go melee, your only option is to throw the trophy at her. The easiest way is to lock on her right as you're finishing off the second Panther. To do that, while the Panther is performing her swipe, position yourself so that you and Ninja Girl form a central symmetry around the Panther, and middle-click on Ninja Girl. Since you positioned yourself on the opposite side of the Panther you'll still be able to kill the Panther easily even while being locked on Ninja Girl. After a few tries you should even be experienced enough to make the throw without locking, all you need to do is place your cursor above Ninja Girl before the dialogue starts, so that when it ends you can throw right away.

Now, detailing the rest of Ninja Girl behavior might seem useless to you since she is basically defeated at that point, right? WRONG. It is very important that you control carefully where the knives are dropped. You'll understand why right away.



Russian Boss behavior is as follow:
  1. (While in Panther/Ninja Girl stage) [INVINCIBLE] Immobile;
  2. (Russian Boss stage starts) Start firing, rotate fire towards player;
  3. (After firing for a few seconds) Stop firing, reload, resume firing;
  4. (After being hit once) Pause for a second, start firing again;
  5. (After being hit twice) Suicide.
What is VERY IMPORTANT here is that he will start firing right in front of him, in the center of the room, and THEN rotate towards the player. Likewise, after getting hit once, he will start firing again in the center of the room before rotating. However after reloading he will continue firing in the same direction as he was before reloading.

Obviously, since you need to use the knives to chop his arms off, where you make Ninja Girl drop the knives is utterly important and can be a huge asset. There are once again three strategies available to you:
  • You-can't-see-me strategy: Hide behind a pillar and wait for Ninja Girl to crawl there. Make her drop the knives in the safety of the pillar. Wait for Russian Boss to reload to throw the knives at him (using middle-button lock for guaranteed success).
  • Hide-and-seek strategy: Kill Ninja Girl wherever in the room, hide behind the pillars while Russian Boss is firing, while he reloads run to the knives and throw one at Russian Boss before retreating to the pillar. Basically same as above with a bit of impatience and thrill.
  • Speedrun strategy: Now this requires some balls. Lock onto Russian Boss before executing Ninja Girl anywhere except directly in front of Russian Boss. When dialogue ends, immediately grab and throw a knife at him, before his fire catches up to you (remember he starts firing in front of him before rotating?). Repeat a second time. You can find an example here. Two things to note:
    • While throwing the first knife, if another knife is in range, the throw action will automatically grab the second knife at the same time, which means you can pull this in only 3 right-clicks (initial grab, first throw/second grab, second throw).
    • If you stand on the right of Russian Boss when he suicides, you will get killed as well.


With all that information you should be able to complete the level easily and seduce women and men alike.

I just found out, I didn't see you could hide behind that thingy. It was very unclear though, with the Ninja Girl being able to throw through the wall, but the Boss not.
