me and my friend decided to play this with a controller just for ♥♥♥♥♥ and gigs, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, its near impossible. anyone who's managed to beat it with a controller, gg, you beat it in hardcore difficulty

Some people find it easier, some find it more difficult, I think it's only a matter of habit and practice ;)

A lot of people have beaten it on controller, since both HM 1 and HM 2 was released on consoles :D I rarely use controller, because I like to beat all possible games with keyboard+mouse. Well the only game I failed was KickBeat. So you just have to practice (a lot) and you will eventually get pretty good with it

I found it harder with mouse/keyboard. Might be because I'm left-handed. With a controller it's easier to lock on and harder to confuse throwing and shooting.

I used a controller to beat both Hotline Miami 1 and 2, but I have been using console controllers for around 4 years now, so it's just preference.

I've used a controller throughout the whole game I find it way easier than a keyboard. I'm a righty btw

Yep, i just finished my third run, first two with Keyboard and the third with controller. I find it easier with controller too :P

I used a controller to beat Hotline Miami 1. I cant imagine Hotline Miami 2 with the controller.

o beat this one with a controller and got half way (i think still have not beat it) through # 2 i find it easier with the controller

I've beaten it both on PS Vita and PC, and I say both keyboard and controller have advantages and disadvantages.
