Hotline Miami 1920x1080 fullscreen resolution but stretches into 2nd montior!
As the title says I have it set to 1920x1080 (native resolution) and fullscreen and this is all good and dandy but the problem is the game fits the entire way through my first monitor but also goes halfway through the 2nd monitor. I've tried doing the hlm thing in Beta but it does nothing. Anyone know how to solve this problem?

The beta branch does not exist anymore and switching to it actually does nothing.

Did you enable high DPI scaling? (Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display, if you are on 125% or higher, then you have enabled high DPI scaling)

If high DPI scaling is enabled, then I know how to fix your problem:
Right-click on the game in your library -> Properties -> Local files -> Browse local files -> Right-click on "HotlineGL.exe" -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Check "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" and apply.

If you're on Windows 10, follow this instead:
The screen is off to the side/zoomed in, I only see part of the whole screen.
Right-click on the game in your library -> Properties -> Local files -> Browse local files -> Right-click on "HotlineGL.exe" -> Properties -> Compatibility.
  • Tick "Override high DPI scaling behavior" and set "Scaling performed by:" to "Application", and apply.
  • If this setting is not there (older versions of Windows): tick "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings", and apply.

There is no other setting governing DPI scaling for a specific application in Windows. Double-check that it is correctly set.

Here is the up-to-date version for newest Windows 10 versions:
The screen is off to the side/zoomed in, I only see part of the whole screen.
Right-click on the game in your library -> Properties -> Local files -> Browse local files -> Right-click on "HotlineGL.exe" -> Properties -> Compatibility.
  • Click on "Change high DPI settings", then under "High DPI scaling override", tick "Override high DPI scaling behavior" and set "Scaling performed by:" to "Application", and then "OK" and "Apply".
  • If "Change high DPI settings" is not there (older versions of Windows): tick "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings", and apply.
