phone company fight, seriously ??
I was really enjoying this game up to now, it felt challenging but beatable, but the phone company biker fight biker is just impossible. It's astounding how they managed to let such a lazy and poorly designed fight block everything up. If Steam offered refunds, I'd totally have sent this back.

woah woah woah. First off, like many things in this game, biker has a pattern that can be exploited. Just try moving with the rectangle pattern on the floor of the room. Second, just because a game hits a skill wall, doesnt mean that it has bad game design.

"I love this game but I can't beat this boss so it's rubbish and I want my money back"

On a more serious note, keep moving around the edge of the room and don't get too close or let him trap you in a corner. Wait for him to throw his cleaver, then whack him with the golf club while he's trying to pull it out the wall. Repeat.

Also, good luck with the other bosses in this game.

This is a public downvote of the game, not a cry for help. Yes, it's bad design, at best it's just really lazy AI and design to design a boss that's guaranteed to kill you on proximity. I've read many negative comments about this encounter, maybe if enough people complained about it game designers would stop resorting to cop outs.

i dont understand how the boss fight is a cop out. Yes, the boss is hard, as you and many others have stated.Yes, the boss can be beaten consistently, as Mandrake, and I have stated.

Therefore the bossfight works as intended, to be a difficulty curve that ramps up to the latter in the game. Which is far from bad game design.

Easy to dodge his attacks, don't think you can beat him on first try before learning the movement pattern.

Well, it was easy for me. It's natural to keep the distance and not that hard to avoid throwed knives. Later in the game you'll face another bossfight, that's when I got all mad and posted a thread like you did, but damn I was satisfied when I broke down the pattern of that ♥♥♥♥♥.

I'll be honest, the bosses in this game are pretty cruddy. They're mainly a pain because you have to redo the fight if you get killed, but once you've learnt their behaviour and how to counter their attacks, they become pretty straightforward.

The main problem is that the game doesn't explain you how you can beat him. I had to google it too, otherwise I would have never known.
The other bossfight is pretty simple to figure out what you have to do.

I suspect this is partly because your main instinct is to charge into the Biker with the golf club or try to parry his attacks, which is guaranteed to get you killed. You also have to stay alive for some time before he becomes vulnerable. The encounter is a complete tangent from standard gameplay, so it throws everyone off.

It's the typical case of the boss who looks really tough at first, but after you figure it's pattern it will rarely manage to kill you.

Right. I tried it like 10 times [also throwing the club] and died horribly until I realised I was missing something. Then I googled the solution learning you have to run away from him till he throws his weapon so you can move in for an attack. With this knowledge he wasn't hard to beat but I guess I would never have found out by myself.

The other [final] boss wasn't that hard to figure out. After a few deaths I knew exactly how to beat his sorry ass.

That's funny...I defeated him in like 3 minutes by learning his pattern of movement and I thought ''meeeh nothing serious'' . Now it was like almost two years and I am encountering threads like that xd Now I feel like a genius because I defeated seemingly unbeatable boss with little to no problem xd
Man wtf r u on about. Biker was so easy... if so 2ez.. After 3 trial and error encounters I easily Killed him; over and over and over again. Ive had more tears flowin fightin sum trash mob in Dark souls 2 then Biker XD

Its obvious that OP never played old games where most bosses looked like they are unbeatable but when you figure out the scheme how to beat them they are quite easy.
