what the damn folder hotline miami redux needs to be

so I've been wanting to play hm's redux mod for a long time, I even bought the original game for that, but it doesn't matter what folder I install the mod in it never starts so I came here to ask which folder this mod wants to be installed so badly

I know you asked for help but, there's a redux mod? If it's any good I could try installing it myself and seeing if I could get it too work, got the link?

Which Window version did you use though ? The only reason Redux wouldn't work is because you are playing HM1 on original launcher, and ofcourse only window 7 can't play the the Update version. Anyway the guide for installing it simply ask you to drop the mod file to where you install your Latest Update Version.
