Why is the first stage of assault so hard?

The people with guns walk outside their rooms making it impossible sometimes to move around the level

you gotta quickly hit the first guy with the baton and then "tease" or bait the other guards into your direction, after you get a gun you can create a lot of noise at the entrance area which means everyone will be cramped into a small area like in a funnel

The shotgun at the end of the buildings always gets me, use shift to wait for them to look the other way, this gives you a few more seconds to do something wild like rushing into the right/left rooms and staying there and not going near windows.

use tony and bait the guy with the gun to the starting room then shoot the gun and drop it and then punch everyone who enters then finish of the rest with a shotgun or a rifle

because the whole game is hard :)
