Problem playing at higher resolution
I'm gaming on a 2560x1440 monitor, and when I select these settings at the start, images are shifted/cutoff toward the lower right of my screen. Is there any way to play at this resolution?

From the FAQ:
The screen is off to the side/zoomed in, I only see part of the whole screen.
Right-click on the game in your library -> Properties -> Local files -> Browse local files -> Right-click on "HotlineGL.exe" -> Properties -> Compatibility.
  • Click on "Change high DPI settings", then under "High DPI scaling override", tick "Override high DPI scaling behavior" and set "Scaling performed by:" to "Application", and then "OK" and "Apply".
  • If "Change high DPI settings" is not there (older versions of Windows): tick "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings", and apply.

Bingo, that did the trick. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

It's the same file, you just have file extensions hidden. Try again, the compatibility tab is there in the properties for this file :)
