So, I have a bit of a problem on my hands. I am trying to run the normal Hotline Miami (Instead of original, recording problems in original) but I cannot, because I keep getting a message telling me to install the .NET framework. Now, whenever I do that, it just keeps searching for the required files. It never ends. And, some of you may say it is because I have the "Check for updates" disabled, but I checked for updates when I first built my PC and it nearly screwed my PC, so I haven't checked since, worried that I'll lose everything. So, any advice or help? Please? Anyone?

Hello, .NET Framework 3.5 is needed for the launcher to work properly, and you need to install it manually in Windows 8+.

Here is how:

• Press “Windows Logo” + “R” keys on the keyboard.
  
• Type “appwiz.cpl” in the “Run” command box and press “ENTER”.
  
• In the “Programs and Features” window, click on the link “Turn Windows features on or off”.
  
• Check if the “.NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)” option is available in it.
  
• If yes, then enable it and then click on “OK”.
  
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation and restart the computer, if prompted.

If it did not work, then you might try to force install from the Windows 10 installation media itself. Detailed instructions can be found here[www.kunal-chowdhury.com].

how long is it supposed to take? ive just done it then because i need it to play rust and seems to be taking awhile to fill in the blank bar with some progess colour (green)

Squashy, you probably need to download the windows troubleshooter as well like Skymirrh mentioned.

i tried it gets stuck on dowloading, i did the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ trouble shooter thing and it still doesnt worpls pls help me im going ♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane

thenk you a lot man but after like 10 more minutes of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pain and sufering it just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ started working and i was so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ angry becausse it jusst worked out of nothing and made me feel like i didnt do ♥♥♥♥, but i ♥♥♥♥♥♥ worked cuz of yess, still thank you

I have a problem when I finish all that, ise is downloading what has been changed, it takes a long time and in the end I get error 0x80070002
