trouble with multiplayer maps

i cant seem to download do_airport and tw_bocage maps. Each time I try I get a window saying failed to download, anyone know how I can fix This Problem?

Also everytime I try and play on the multiplayer map called canal my game crashes any help?

I did it, overwrite maps, ... and it is still crashing (map canal). Tried to reinstall the newest patch, but I was unable to find correct language version.
Any suggestion?

The repair tools do nothing, the actual map is missing from their website and I do not know where to find it, and its not on that download page.

Canal is a map that I believe is part of the game install ( I didn't have any problems with this map, I could be wrong ) so I think you should verify your cache integrity. Only do this once, because every time you do it it will tell you that you need to download files, although this is not true. The maps on Massgate didn't work for me, they would not download the complete file.

It's very disappointing that Steam would allow a product to be purchased that for most is quite difficult to get working. Nobody purchases a game so they can spend hours searching forums looking for, and then applying, various fixes. It's very frustrating and is turning a lot of people away from what is otherwise an absolute gem of a game. I would encourage people to persevere, it is worth it, the game really is that good.
