Creating LAN with Hamachi

Trying to play multiplayer by using hamachi to create a LAN but we are struggling to get games to show up in multiplayer--> local network. Anyone made this work?

Hmm, you could make sure that the hamachi connection is not encrypted and the adapter is set to the hightest priority.

How to change the priority of network adapters?

press windows button + r
type in "ncpa.cpl"
press enter
press alt and click on the Advanced field at the top
choose advanced options

Now in the listing you can change the priotity of the adapters. The one at the top is the default one for network applications. After that you should restart your pc maybe this will work.

Otherwhise try to connect via direct ip. If that is possible here. Maybe there is a button in the game to do that. You can see the IP of your friends server in the hamachi overview.

If this all wont help than you could try tunngle software :D i think some time ago i did it with that tool. its an tunneling software like hamachi.

It was actually really easy and we were really overthinking it. All we had to do was be on the same network and then one of us create a game and the others could join right in.
