4 Key support?
Will you be able to play the game with a 4 key layout?

All screenshots and footage shows the game with a 6 key layout.

4 keys gameplay support is a nobrainer to me, nice!

Doesn't look like there is a 4Key setting. Might be a card effect, but it's not something I can find right now.

4Key in terms of gameplay seems to be easy and normal difficulty. Anything higher becomes 6 key.

So they might have locked it to a difficulty which is a bit unfortunate

Maybe I'm just misunderstanding something (I'm relatively new to rhythm games in general), but isn't asking a 6-key game to be playable with 4 keys basically like asking it to be a different game? Seems like a strange thing to expect...

This game is basically DJMax with a Touhou skin. DJMax has 4 or 6 key beatmaps for every song so it wouldn't be totally out of the question to have that.

really hate that it works like that. I've got almost no experience with 6k so I'd love to practice on easier maps and work my way up, but everything below hard is locked to 4k so it just feels like a massive jump in difficulty trying to play anything on hard

I think the best thing you can try is looking for the lower numbered songs in hard using free play, and setting your note speed a bit lower than you're used to in order to get yourself more acquainted with the extra keys.

Slow note speed just makes them remain on the screen much longer.
Sometimes it distracts IMO

The remaining on the screen longer is useful for getting used to pressing the right buttons. If they just flash past you while you're not used to their buttons then you lose the time to prepare for them
