Release date finally updated...
For while I had been asking that the development team expand from prussia and go into other nations of note during this period, to show that they could keep with original release date of 2024. Two developer diaries it was revealed to my dismay, and im sure others wishlisted this game, that the game was PRE alpha still today even though a demo was shown at gamescon. Honestly in the market today, especially recent events(major steam sales of various titles, indications that the US Fed has no idea what they are doing, stock markets all over world reacting to this and that measure, credit data for middle and lower class individuals being abismal at best), the updated date reflects in my opinion various outside factors not just developmental that contributed to development level at this time.

All this being said, I do hope, with proper testing and like, by this time next year we can see a finished "" product. While some baseline mechanics seem to be rehashed over and over again, initial designs for others seem to be secondary... All to show off Prussia. While I get with there argument why this is, This was also the era of colonization and expansion of the USA into west(even per video they describe it) and the industrialization of the world that caused the shift of power to go from Europe to North America. While it is interesting to see how generalized mechanics for each country are shown, to a degree it still feels at least to me that the Developers are centering the mechanics on one nation a bit much for it to even be considered for alpha testing...

I know all this is subjective on videos released and not actual data or development understanding(where they are, what they worked on, etc), but I personally see this release date changing another three to five times and mechanics/map going through another two to 7 rehash/re-innovations before they even get to beta stage. Much like another game on my wishlist that stopped development(Nestiars i believe was that development team, stated monetary reasons for stopping), I see a slow but steady change and possibly maybe a much better game due to the slow and methodical rehash/re-innovation of mechanics... Least that is what I hope.
