Controller Support?

Currently, there doesn't seem to be controller support, which for me is a huge deal. I cannot play these types of games without a controller.

I can understand that it's not in right now due to being in developement, but I would like to know if there are plans to make the game work with controllers before official release.

I am using the X-Box 360 with a USB cable on my PC and it works Fine. What controller DO YOU HAVE. Have the controller plugged in before you start the game.

I have been playing at home with 2 different type of USB controllers. Truth is i did have to remap the buttons, but thanks to another user that posted a neat little trick to do this, it was easily done, check out the community section, that's how i found out! :)

I have been able to play with a PS3 controller and an XB360 controller emulator. It should work with a controller.

I dont know if this applies to you but I always have trouble with steam games recognizing my xbox controller if I have my Orbweaver or any other type of peripheral like that plugged in at the same time, I have to unplug and restart steam with just my xbox controller.

lol ya game requires X-input device so if you don't have a 360 controller or a logitech F310 your stuck with keyboard.

I'm using my PS3 controller, but I've got a program that emulates the 360 controller. Can't even get the game to recognize the device, much less map buttons.

Haven't had an issue with my controller before.

I was having the same problem you were, but i relaunched the game and made sure I actually used my controller at the press start screen and it works fine.

Well i hope that the devs puts some custom controller buttons option in the game, as my controller (twin controller to be exactly made and bought at an chinese store) works more or less but the current button configuration drives me crazy. I hope that someone from the devs can update the game and integrate this type of option to change the buttons as my liking.

If you go to Documents\Tribute Games\MercenaryKings\Configs you can edit the cfg file of your controller. In the sticky about remapping controls someone put their cfg there if you want to copy paste.

x360ce didn't work for me in this game.

A playstation 3 controller+motioninjoy in xbox360 mode did work for me.
