This game does not play as quickly as Metal Slug. Metal Slug is much more fast-paced and frantic.

The game does look a lot like Metal Slug, (in fact, on our tumblr, we have made a post that it is particularly inspired by the Neo Geo Pocket version, which has larger, platformier levels). But the game also has a pretty big crafting element which separates it from being a Metal Slug clone (which btw, would be totally fine, Metal Slug and amazing and simply replicating it is still a crazy amount of work).

At the end of the day we are called TRIBUTE games, so you have to expect that we're homaging/riffing/borrowing from all those games we loved as kids.

It MUST be a rip-off, I mean it has sprites, the girl kinda looks like Fio and Eri if you squit your eyes, and it plays absolutely nothing like those games! well....it surely is influenced by MS but not enough to call it a rip-off. Actually...it still has enough features which MS hadn't back then. Like some ppl already wrote: I also do see stuff you could put in Mega Man.
Well...I do like the game and I just DOESN'T feel like a MS/MM rip-off....
