Remote Play Together (and Local Co-op)

I'm just curious: has anyone actually managed to play this game in Remote Play Together? I tried playing with a friend (me, as the host, using a controller, and my friend emulating my keyboard), but, for some reason, the game could not detect me using the controller.

Has anyone managed to get this working? Or at least used the same configuration for local co-op?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

As the host of the game, I became the second player and my friend became player 1 (Kurt) automatically. Maybe switching the controls around will work? I'm not too sure since my friend and I played on keyboard, but hopefully it helps

Thanks for the tip! I managed to get it working in the end but forgot to update the thread here. Strangely enough, I couldn't manage to make my friend become Player 1, but, with a lot of key remapping, we got it working anyway. In any case, I appreciate taking the time to reply to my post.
