When should I play the Spirit of Justice special episode?

After completing Episodes 1-5 of Dual Destinies, I went on to play the special episode case, which chronologically takes place sometime after Episode 1 but before Episode 4. It didn't contain any endgame spoilers as far as I could tell, and it also felt awkward to see certain characters regress to their pre-Episode 4/5 states. It made me wish that I had played the Special Episode between episodes 3 and 4, instead of at the end.

I'd like to avoid making a similar mistake with Spirit of Justice's special episode, so when would be the best point to play it?

The special episode of SoJ takes place AFTER the main story. So you should play it last. It's nothing groundbreaking but it's a cool little bonus episode.
