Can't eat food in scribblenauts, glitch?

So I bought scribblenauts unlimited a few days back, and towards the beginning of the game I noticed I could eat things in game, and there were a few times I needed to eat something to get starites, or starite shards. To put things short, suddenly Maxwell can't eat anything. The option to eat something doesn't even show up anymore, and I'm not sure how to fix it. I find it rather annoying that I may not be able to 100% this game just because Maxwell refuses to eat anything else. All help and suggestions will be appreciated, thank you for taking the time to read this.

Hmm no dice, nothing happened with a psychiatrist, or a doctor either.

Well, only certain items like ones for quests are edible, such ad the banana, hotdog, and burger in hypheon heights. You cannot add any adjetives, or any that I am aware of, to make objects edible. I hope this helped with Ama Ki Ellikayara's sarcasm.

I play on xbox but it should still work what is working for me is adding the adjective edible and then removing all adjectives on the object and it gives me the option to eat it.
