Click mouse, pointer moves
Someone else had the same problem, but I thought I might try a new thread with a title that's a bit more descriptive. (http://steamcommunity.com/app/218680/discussions/0/882966056949624507/ is other thread)

Basically, whenever I click the mouse cursor will jump from where ever I'm clicking to the top left corner of the screen. I recorded a video, you can watch it here (uploading now, might not be available immediately after post): http://youtu.be/VhGO5rMFF3g

You'll notice when I click a button, the cursor, at least for a moment, jumps to the top left. Sometimes, if I hold the left click button long enough it'll count the click. The only way I figured out how to get through the menus was by just using the keyboard, but it's kind of annoying considering so much of the game can clearly be controlled through the mouse.

I'm having the same trouble. The mouse will snap back if I move it even slightly, bit it's very annoying. I'm using a Kensington Expert Mouse (the optical version) left-handed so that the buttons are swapped.

INTERESTING. I have a SteelSeries Sensei that's set to left handed. I'm gonna try switching to right handed and see what happens?

This is obnoxious as hell. The only thing that can get it to click properly is to press the mouse button, move it a few pixels, and quickly release it. Seriously, this may be the crappiest, laziest PC port I've ever seen in my life. Did they get some unpaid intern to do it, or what? The game is amazing, and the control on a PC is vomitous. I'm glad I got it for only $7 from Amazon, because paying the Steam price for this weak effort would have been a ripoff.

Switching to right handed didn't do me much good.

If you guys can, put in a ticket here: http://support.wbgames.com/ics/support/ticketnewwizard.asp?style=classic

I put one in, and they kind of threw the technical support book at me (working for a different game publisher tech support I recognized what was happening kind of quick), but if we get a few voices in on this hopefully they'll realize that it's something that might need to be fixed.

I sent WB a thorough bug report, so hopefully with multiple complaints, they'll address it quickly.

Same here with a plain old Logitech mx518. Very annoying. Hope for a fix

To anyone with this problem: I think I fixed it for myself.

The setting in windows control panel for bringing a window you hover over to the front had to be disabled.

On Windows 7 it's under:
Control Panel \ Ease Of Access Center \ Make the mouse easier to use.
Scroll down and uncheck 'Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse'.

This fixed my problem instantly. Not sure if it'll work for everybody, but it's worth a shot.

On Windows XP, you download tweakui* then go to:

TweakUI >> Mouse(+) >> X-Mouse

Uncheck: Activation follows mouse (X-Mouse).

This fixed it (and crazy illogical hover-to-focus problem).

Well, that could explain it, then. I enabled a registry setting to do just that, because I wanted that feature from X. Not willing to disable it for just one game. It's still dreadful and stupid that this game out of hundreds I've played screws this up, which means it's still a crappy and lazy port and not worth full price.

Great find! Haven't tried it yet but it makes too much sense. Sucks, because I'm really used to that, but I don't enable it at work so I can probably swing getting used to not having it at home, too...

Yeah I didn't really want to disable it either, but I'll deal for now. Still hope it gets fixed.
Wish there was a config file to mess with. Still kinda feels like some mouse smoothing is on or something.

Uncheck the box under it. I have it in danish, so I dont know what it completly says, but something like; "Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen". That fixed it for me.

This game has far too many bugs in it. I have this issue and i'm not willing to disable my cursor focus registry edit purely for one game that has other bugs in it too.

For one, I can't turn the music off, no matter what setting the music slider is on. That music is just hateful.

Thank god this game didn't cost me anything... uninstalled.

QFT. Glad this was part of a Humble Bundle, so at least I get to feel good about the donation, even if this game is #fail ;(
