how to install things from workshop?

i have been trying to install the mods from the workshop for this game but it seems i cant download them how do i do it?

I'd also really like to know, I have several items subscribed to and steam says it downloaded the content but it's nowhere in game.

after subscribing, go to object editor (glue+scissor icon top right corner when you play) then go to the downloads tab and you should see them there.

That's the problem though, they aren't there. It's completely barren despite me having 48 items subscribed to and downloaded.

Go in-game, into the object editor, press the steam workshop icon THERE, then subscribe to items while the game is running.
Re-subscribe to all items that aren't there.
