because Lily is a "half-functional" NPC
she can get scared, she can eat stuff, but any way to damage or kill Lily?

I know I'm like, 6 years late to this. But you CAN in fact, kill Lily.
All you have to do is to add the 'omnivorous' adjective to anything, and they will go up and eat Lily.
