Personally, this early in the game, I don't bother with Idira or Argenta unless I have to.
Anyway, soften the boss up a bit with some debuffing, get enough momentum for a heroic by killing the minions, let Kibs use her heroic on the boss.
I play with the enemy having maxed health slider in difficulty. Kibs took big boi from 85pct health to dead in round one of this fight with an attack, a blade dance, and the heroic.
I am going to differ on all of this. Pasqal with the lasgun to take out the sniper, otherwise everything on the heavy. The fact that he can take Grand Strategist makes him pretty devastating particularly in this encounter -although I miss all the Bounty Hunter perks, If your Cassie is also a Grand Strategist in addition to being an Officer she can bounce Kibs twice, so I always go all in on Aurora and since Kibs is high agility she should be getting back to back turns. Mop up the ads with whatever is last in initiative.
No reason at all for this fight to go beyond a single round.
Maybe Pasqal for most damage and Abelard to tank as well.
Four is a party, six is a crowd :)
Practice makes perfect and if I can do it anyone can do it.
RT was pure support noble/officer/grand strategist.
Idira geared towards telepathy damage.
Bolter Argenta.
Navigator focused Cassia into Master tactician.
Heinrix as vanguard but as a damage support with enfeeble and offensive follow.
and Pascal...who was kind of just.,..there. (was pretty much useless all throughout the game)
Auroa started and killed...argenta ?, maybe heinrix too, don't remember but it mattered nothing. Idira got the Max HP staff just before the fight, which took out a casual 200ish HP. Then I put in some more mental damage but he was already dead.
I had forgotten about aftershock, meaning on his turn he tried to reach Idira in melee and fell over dead.
... Then I spent the rest of fight trying to get to the sniper which was tearing me apart XD

Second time (pre-lvl16, grimdark)) I had a flamer argenta (but focus on + daemon damage), pyro psyker RT, dancer, officer, operative and shotgun built for control (doesn't really work).
All my main DPS/tanks died right away and I was about to start a new run without even trying, but through some miracle I made it before he blew up the last ship. Argenta had survived (flamer sucks imho) and was flaming through wave after wave of adds doing barely any damage at all to aurora.
The operative and the officer were trying to save up enough exploits to actually deal some damage via crits (officer buffing operative sniper). That and making aurora waste his turn running through the arena
I still don't know how I got through that. Only got the second tier archetypes from the XP of this fight. (first thing I did was kill the sniper here)
I forgot about the adds and the sniper, Kibellah took the adds out in one turn and was on the sniper in two or maybe three.
Really it was the easiest fight I had while on the planet. Auroa didn't get a look in on any of the shuttles therefore no further adds.
