Good build for Pascal
Hey,
does anyone have a concrete suggestion for a Pascal build? (Actually naming the talent picks i mean).
I've searched online but nothing really stuck or was outdated.

We're currently level 20 and right now he is more of a backline sniper, but he can't hit ♥♥♥♥, so i'd prefer him to be more of a versatile or even fully melee-focused character, but don't know how to really build him. (He seems squishy).

I've heard 'Dual Wielder' is a really good feat on him, but i also don't see how i wouldn't just get smacked in melee when shooting.

Open to suggestions.

Put points into int and perception, use plasma weapons since he gets such huge bonuses to them, melta works too, only use area attacks. Pick executioner as 2nd archetype and take the skill that makes his aoe shots do burning stacks. Assassin was nerfed to ♥♥♥♥, it's a worthless archetype making any melee build pointless. You can use power hammers cause they have a nice aoe attack as a melee option.

Int buffs area attack damage and you need it for his logic/tech-use, put rest of the point to medicae. Executioner has a passive that makes you get max wounds from medicae instead of toughness and medicae is buffed by int as well. Percetion lowers enemy dodge chance against aoe, which is all you do. Then just pick passives that boost plasma, aoe and fire dot damage.

You can put points into strength if you want to use heavy armor, but I personally never felt like he needed it.

I tried making him into an assassin on my first run but that one didn't work out at all to the point I ended up not using him anymore.

About dual wielder, arch-militant has an upgrade called "Close-Quarters Training" that allow him to use two-handed ranged weapons that are not shotguns within melee range. So you would be able to fire your more powerful guns like plasma or melta right in the enemy face, but with a penalty to ballistic skill.

Taking a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ archetype so you can do what his push mechandrite does with 1 passive is kinda ridiculous.
