koronus expanse map busted after update?

After updating to 1.0.1 the expanse map no longer allows me to pan or scroll through the map, regardless of my settings (checked both mouse scrolling and keyboard controls to make sure they didn't reset). Leaving the map and going back to the bridge allows my controls to function properly again.

Just wondering if anyone else was experience this and found a work around?
