Janus quest, part of it got skipped, and can someone help me understand what happened with the rebel leaders?
I feel like I missed out on some content here, and the resolution with the rebel leaders seems odd.

Okay, I recruited Yrliet and I decided I wanted to shuffle my party a little and was asked to go back to my ship to scan the planet to help locate the rebels. So I click on the return to voidship by the shuttle.

Immediately I'm pulled into a conversation with Yrilet and she says I know where the rebels are, and suddenly I'm in the jungle fighting rebels and such without ever having done anything but talk to the governor. It feels like something got skipped there?

Now here is the part I don't understand, Yrilet seems convinced that the Aeldar guy leading the rebels is being influenced by Slaanesh and acts very much like I'd except, that this is unacceptable. However I am able to convince the guy that we should work together. There has been no proof that there was anything going on with the governor (other than the suspicious aide with her and the spherical shield like effect subtly surrounding the governor.

But my reaction to the Aeldar rebel leader was like "yeah I'll go get the governor" and I leave in piece. What? Suddenly Yrilet doesn't think the leader is tainted by Slaanesh and all we need to worry about is the governor?

What's the deal with this? Did something get skipped and what's the story with all of this, because nothing has been established by the dialogue so far as I recall with any kind of evidence, even tenuously. And the only way to say hey it's not cool that you're mind controlling the human rebels there other than having to fight.
