Im a fan of the debuffs w/ blank tooltips that dont tell you what they actually do personally.

The thrust of my post is that I don't want to have to do that to get that information, if you couldn't tell.

I share your pain,I don't remember Pathfinder having these math tooltips,don't know what happened but they should simplify or make it easier to read and not look like some Pythagoras theorem

I like being condescending and making fun of people by any means, if you couldn't tell.

You shouldn't be considering what you wrote is effectively useless since you're not showing resolve scaling which is the whole point of purge soul.

How many guesses do I get?
It says psi rating increases damage so id say Warp damage but it also just says "Damage" so it could be direct damage.

And? When you that stuff on your bar and mouse over it - it will show actual numbers. When you press the ability and hover over the enemy - it will show you actual damage with all the ♥♥♥♥ calculated.
I like SEEING what contributes to my damage output and how I can affect it and where.
Also, this "formula" is what is being tought in 3rd-4th grade of school where I live, so by the time you get to a "major" you should have got SOME education, no?

It really should always just calculate the damage for you, then either show you the formula on hover with toggles for that hover toolip for simplified calculations (already calculated sources being added together) to full calculations (the formula for everything)

You can really tell their designers weren't comfortable footing more of the work instead of throwing roses on top of an ancient, preexisting game system (since they had to do more homebrewed work for rogue trader than pathfinder, I'd assume, given its state).

It's kinda funny too since this is literally what computers were made for: To do math for the humans. Especially bad since it will show the damage when hovering over the enemy so I have no idea why not just do the math in the description as well.

I like how Baldur's Gate 3 does it, the main damage number is displayed as simple numbers and you can see what dice roll goes on in the background in the description as well.

I agree and my hope is the designers see threads like this and give us this. They can even leave a toggle option so that the SUPER SMART guys in this thread can still do their beloved equations.

Psyker rating goes form 0 to 4, 1 every 10 level if you pick the appropriate skill (wtf would you not, this game is bonker, they should give you the psyker level automatically)

Your resolve is, well, your resolve.

That is, if the tooptip and the skill isn't broken

THanks, I'll just say that you got it right. And this highlights what I don't want to be doing every time I level up and have to choose skills. Anyway, you are clearly very smart. What steam award would you like? The most expensive one? I'm filthy rich with steam points.
