Some suits are but I thought that Guardian armor was just armor?
They operate differently, but there IS some overlap. However, maybe they just simplified, because generally it is correct that dark and regular eldar use different battle equipment for different reasons.
If we're being honest though, dark eldar should be able to use regular eldar equipment, but not vice versa in most cases.
since drukhari armor has barbs and pins and whatnot embedded into it, the armor goes directly into the skin inflicting pain in order to save them from Slaanesh (same reason they torture everyone), an aldaeri will never wear it because it goes against its morals and it is considered heretical for them in a way
On the other hand I doubt Marazhai does NOT want to be in permanent pain.
(with the same reason I would guess humans wouldn't want to wear Drukhari armour plus Eldar are between 1,95 m and 2,40 m tall, I guess it just wouldn't fit.)
Lore-wise Aeldari equipment is made from a psychoactive material called the Wraithbone that connects directly with the Aeldari psyche / brain function.
Humans are unable to wear Aeldari equipment as they lack the Aeldari psychic powers and thus would not be able to "log in" into the suit to be able to utilise its protective features.
Also the Eldar are taller than humans, so the suits you'd scavange on the battlefield would simply be the wrong size for a human to wear.
You can, but you SHOULDN'T.
This is kind of good too know.
And Eldar armor is too boring enough for Drukhari to wear so eldar armor is a no go for Drukhari.
