Where do I unlock Drukhari or Eldar 'equipment', not weapons.
I can't equip any xenos armor despite having all the xenos skills I could find. I can use the weapons, but see no talent for 'equipment'. My bags are full of Dark Eldar armor...AND I CANT USE IT! Sadface!

Shouldn't drukhari be unable to wear aeldari equipment since they cant use psy power(and aeldari equipment is all about using psy)? Same for humans. Humans simply cant wear it, aeldari need to make it specifically for humans.

Some suits are but I thought that Guardian armor was just armor?

They operate differently, but there IS some overlap. However, maybe they just simplified, because generally it is correct that dark and regular eldar use different battle equipment for different reasons.

If we're being honest though, dark eldar should be able to use regular eldar equipment, but not vice versa in most cases.

yeah there could be clearer explanations of this to avoid wasting time. Also hard to tell what's a bug, and what isn't sometimes. If you picked up that really cool Aeldari sniper rifle in chapter one, the aeldari character can't equip it because it's got the wrong tags. And it's STILL better than what she's got. Just sitting their in my inventory...

I would love it if Humans could wear Drukhari Armor for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles

I just found a pretty sick piece of Drukhari armour in Ch3 and, future plot unknowns aside, I'm not at all convinced I'll ever get to use it.

From a lore standpoint there is a reason for that,
since drukhari armor has barbs and pins and whatnot embedded into it, the armor goes directly into the skin inflicting pain in order to save them from Slaanesh (same reason they torture everyone), an aldaeri will never wear it because it goes against its morals and it is considered heretical for them in a way

I doubt they would do that because, if you talk to Marazhai in the pit, you will learn that Drukhari armour is attached directly to the body - with hooks and spikes. I got the feeling Yrilet doesn't want to be in permanent pain.
On the other hand I doubt Marazhai does NOT want to be in permanent pain.
(with the same reason I would guess humans wouldn't want to wear Drukhari armour plus Eldar are between 1,95 m and 2,40 m tall, I guess it just wouldn't fit.)

Lore-wise Aeldari equipment is made from a psychoactive material called the Wraithbone that connects directly with the Aeldari psyche / brain function.

Humans are unable to wear Aeldari equipment as they lack the Aeldari psychic powers and thus would not be able to "log in" into the suit to be able to utilise its protective features.

Also the Eldar are taller than humans, so the suits you'd scavange on the battlefield would simply be the wrong size for a human to wear.

It's like a human knowingly wear Chaos/heretical gear.
You can, but you SHOULDN'T.

Well, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
This is kind of good too know.

Drukhari armor has barbs inside that cause pain every time a person moves. For anyone that isn't a pain addict that would be unacceptable. That what Marazhai tells you when asked about it. And they ♥♥♥♥♥ enough that getting rid of those barbs would destroy the armor. So Drukhari armor is no go for Eldar.
And Eldar armor is too boring enough for Drukhari to wear so eldar armor is a no go for Drukhari.
