The grab the elf-be-good revolver, and have a go at them!
your assumption is false, i know they do it to try and avoid slaneesh, what i fail to see any logic is how it help them so. if anything they are worshiping her by doing so... quiet ironic.
anyhow here's something nobody need reasoning with, eradicating them to the last one.
They are either doing Slaanesh stuff or Slaanesh eat their souls if they don't. Don't know what is hard to understand here.
Not entirely accurate; Drukhari are pretty much Psychic Vampires. Their sadomasochistic habits are a result of the soul-devouring curse of Slaanesh; in order to sustain their souls, they have to basically imbibe on the suffering of other sapient species. They're not doing it in reverence to Slaanesh but to actually save themselves (and unfortunately became their own monsters, so there's little sympathy for them—they're evil, both as a product of their past hedonism and love for what they do). So you can trust a Drukhari will do something awful.
They don't have the luxury of Spirit Stones to hide their souls like the Craftworld Aeldari do, and this game does good in showing that the metaphysical differences between Drukhari and Aeldari souls is actually quite significant (when you find Yrliet in Commorragh you discover that she was in the slow process of actually transforming into a Drukhari).
Marazhai's Soulless quest best represents what happens if they go so long without it.
The Drukhari are actually interesting and are more than one-dimensional—it's just that Chapter 3 wasn't executed very well.
Yeah my sentence was badly put together there. I know they are doing all this only to save themselves. They feed on the psychic residue that comes from torture etc. in order to stave off Slaanesh to slowly consume their soul.
Good times! My only regret is I didn't get to shoot more. The game was like "you have to leave now, go home" but I just wanted to keep murdering stupid elves for treasure. MFer I'm a rogue trader and I've found a cheat code to infinite xenotech, why would I ever leave?!?!
agreed. Alushinyrra was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ since you had to toogle camera constantly in the place which were confusing but well imemrsed, after all this was a chaotic place but still it was well integrated.
commoragh is erh.. you know the feeling when you replay a game you enjoyed and suddently you freeze because you remember there is "THAT" place.
ye, Chapter 3 is definitely that place for Rogue trader
the problem is msotly how they integrated the whole thing it came out of nowhere, and you can pretty much guess.
i believe the most disapointing here is the management of the camera during the whole thing, going from and to the same place a good 5-6 times, and goosh... once you get your equipment back manually put back everything to each every member of your party...
on a more personnal view most of the cringiest plot twist happen there like :
Argenta : btw i killed theodora
or
Yrliet : maybe i regret what i did, maybe not, simp a bit more and i'll tell you
being dogmatic as heck and still have to be submissive or die... did they really considered a dogmatic option during commoragh or it just intended for you to be at best icono/heretical in your behavior in this whole chapter ?
once i was done with that chapter i was wondering what's next ? high inquisitor gonna turn out heretical as well...
oh boy chapter 5 not only convinced me so but also gotta be the shortest chapter i've ever seen in my CRPG career. 3 systems to explore, 1 place to visit, 3 bosses annnd done.
