Cassia final quest's peaceful solution

Oh damn, not sure what I did wrong but I have to use Toybox's to trigger The Price of Power's peaceful resolution (Freedom vs Not Me).

Did all the lovey dovey Cassia romance stuff, oh well, thanks for Toybox I guess.

EDIT: Oh man, it might have to do with the library gift thing in Act 2 (I follow the book and went straight for the hand, wtf Owlcat?).

You were suppose to read the book and act like a gentlemen from the book
That initiates the romance and then from then on you got to not choose the wrong dialogue that fails the romance

An example from yrliet would be in chapter 3 if you said she mine instant romance failed flag

Same reason for Cassia if you chose a wrong dialogue the game just instantly flag the failed

I already follow the book and get her to Amour Courtois 2, and triggers romance event in Act 4 where she feels insecure.

Oh well, Toybox to the rescue!

I don't think it is a bug, and dependent on romance? Cassia seems to be written like Heinrix, by default they are committed to their duty. Either you convince them to lose that commitment, and choose freedom for themselves, or not. I didn't bother with Cassia, and she wanted to keep the Atlas in my playthrough.

Similar with Argenta, didn't bother talking to her much, and since her default state is zealot, she got her zealot happy ending to her quest. Which was a bit funny.

There is certainly triggers involved, but it seems to never decrease the Not Me flag.

If you don't have Freedom above the Not Me, she's automatically possessed by Tisiphone regardless of what you do and become outright aggressive unlike the normal Cassia.

EDIT: It is ALL about the library, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, that's the only difference, damn.

Oh man just read up on some spoilers and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ my girl's ending is grim.

I think I'm gonna choose again for the good of both houses.

I finally go back to my past save and discover what I did wrong. This is no bug.

It's not even the romance option, during the meeting with the Navigators in Dargonus, you need to nod wordlessly and let Cassia speak.
By not choosing that option, you essentially cut out 2 precious Freedom points and nudge in 1 Not Me point, essentially making you near locked-in the Tisiphone possession.

This is harsh as ♥♥♥♥, I have to say, because I was enjoying protecting/childing Cassia but this turns out be bite me in the arse.

And maybe they should say clearly Nod wordlessly [Let Cassia speak for herself] or something.

I'd guess most companions have relatively few options to change their outlook, except for maybe Pascal. It's one of the reasons why the game feels unfinished. I think the later chapters were supposed to give you more opportunities, but as they are now, there is just too little content.

I feel there should more freedom points in Act 3 & Act 4 for Cassia and it would make sense.

Argenta on the other hand feels generous since she does have point in Act 3 & 4.

Wish DLC and enhanced companions give more companion quests.

Go to Toybox, go to Search'n'Loot tab, pick Cassia, search for "Cassi_".

You will find the flags with numeral values.
