Pascal needs to be nerfed
Pascal is WAY to Strong in his "Bounty Hunter/plasma rifle" Build. Especially after picking up the *Ancient Plasma Rifle" which gives him +Int Bonus Damage. Not +Int*Modifier*, complete Intelligence. Which means in my case about +120 Bonus Damage.
For a Gun that deals about 30-46 Dmg, this is Insane. And with Bounty hunter, he gets like 600Crit Dmg every second Shot if he killed a prey with "Collect Bounty".

Serious Owlcat...did you even played this Game??

pascal? What about cassia? she kills everything in one turn. She always goes right after my officer who always goes first and also gives her an extra turn with 3 ap at the start, and if for some reason I manage to raise enough momentum she goes a thirde time with heroic action..... Point of interest and the mind cone attack its just an atomic bomb.

Yeah, no, sorry, Pasqal isn't "broken". 2*Int barely gets him on par with Argenta :)

Yes, he, Cassia and Argenta are best boi and girls in the game.

Nothing comes close.

idira is also very strong, if a little dependant on gear

Too bad Argenta has eliminated the competition in my run ;)

Idira requires playing with veil and I think it's a late build (that is, you'd need to get far enough in... what is it, act 2 ? to unlock it), on the other hand Pasqal is the easier to get online, you get a plasma pistol early, and the first plasma rifle is right before Aurora, so that's pretty ok.

I've not played bonkers Cassia (I guess you stack infinit WP and cast her aoe that proceed to oneshot everything), but Pasqal requires you to click so many times compared to Argenta, even if he dealt twice her damage per shot I would still see him as inferior just because of the finger work required.

to respond to OP, no i dont think Pasqal needs "nerfed", certain talents/abilities that are either completely broken + overperforming or just straight up not working should be fixed.

Cassia has her GET OVER HERE Navigator moves which makes encounter significantly more convenient, since she can group up enemy and even get enemy outta cover.

She doesn't even need to be strong, being strong is just a bonus.

I'm imagining Cassia in a Mortal Kombat game with fatality while she trying to act as nice as possible (except to the peasants of course).

Yes but that's not the build people claim is broken (or I don't see how that's broken, at worse it's "working as intended", and as you say, it just makes fights "more convenient")

Pasqal is, by far, THE most overpowered character in the game.
He can practically solo every fight on Unfair difficulty.
You just need the following.

This gun:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3140346170

This feat:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3140346093

And you can use this for 0 AP and as often as you want per turn:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3140346007

So basically Pasqal has an unlimited amount of shots per turn dealing 600-800 damage/each. The only limit to what he can kill is that it needs to be in his line of sight.

Most fights will be won in 1 turn, on Unfair difficulty. Once it's Pasqal's turn, all you have to do is to position him somewhere where he has line of sight to all enemies, then start shooting. You don't actually need the Ancient Plasma Rifle, it just speeds up the process because everything dies in 1 shot.

The limit of single shots per turn is 11. 11 shots of 800 damage, or even 1000 damage, is what a burster does with ONE salvo.

i still havent tried the movement build with her, i just use her for buffing and her aoe + held in my gaze and thats worked pretty great both playthroughs.

It's very...convenient.

Enemy outside of range, GET OVER HERE. Enemy scattering all around the battlefield, GET IN A GROUP.

After that you can Held in my Gaze or Lidless stare them herself, or leave the good work to the Sister or the Tech Priest, or anyone really.

yeah ive heard you end up with a lot of visual effects clouding your screen though, will probably try that build on the next run though

Not if you break the game :) You can shoot (almost) infinite times per turn with Pasqal under heroic (but that requires setup and/or a lot of breakable stuff)

I've not tried but I'm also half sure that you don't need a lot to break the game.

Yep, probably need a beffy machine.
I usually save post-battle and reload to cut all the dazzing effects, truly make the battlefield look like a battlefield.

The PTSD, man, the PTSD. Imagine your enemies move against their will and just break themselves apart trying to stop it.

Then again, I do fight plenty of Navigators in-game so it's all fair game.
