even if you don't continue playing this game, i guess it's just an advice for future - if game allows you to make hard saves - do it
I was having so much fun with him, this kinda turns off my run, but I'll keep playing i guess
Pretty easy to miss visually since I think the only marker is the NPC in front of him and it has the same designation as random filler npcs in the same zone.
This is what I do. Generally I only go back to my "base" save and delete the extraneous saves when I'm able to freely move and have everybody on board with me and there seems to be no pressing time-sensitive matter at hand.
P.S. It actually is very well in Baldur's gate 1/2 spirit.
