When does Cassia's Romance start?

I'm using the toolbox mod to allow all gender romances and multiple romances,I've already started Jae's but I felt pretty certain Cassia's romance path would start after the battle with the Navis Nobilite assassins, but when I asked if I was someone to her she said she was glad to have a friend she could talk to.

Is this when the romance was supposed to start? Or is it yet to come.

It started way earlier than that, you should get at least a scene where she's reading right in Act 1 after you rescue her in Eurac V.

Just don't choose the horndog options.

I did get that scene, I did pick the first "your eyes are so pretty," option just to be a bit funny but then I was serious about the rest of the options.

I guess I should rephrase is "actually becoming an item," something a bit later on.

Since Jae's is so fast... but then she's a lot more worldly.

Cassia's romance requires you follow basic steps and never show outwards lust.

It's funny because I remember someone saying Cassia's romance is easy to do when it requires a lil bit of reading.

Okay so I think maybe I didn't have the mod installed soon enough, if the romance was supposed to kick off back then based on what I'm reading. I didn't realize there was a mod until I got to chapter 2.

I'm playing a woman, so... yeah I guess I missed it. dang.

Cassia starts at the very first private talk on your ship after she joins you. It is more of a courtship ritual, since all of Cassia's knowledge stems from literature. Later there are gifts involved, which demonstrate how well the giver understands the receiver. The dance continues into chapter 4, before you reach the finish line.
