Build for first playthrough help
So I am super new to the whole lore etc and I dont wanna tire it too much. I just need a build that I will immerse myself to the game. Initialy as other normies to the lore I wanted to make a space marine ultra dogmatic but it seems there isnt any option for that in the game.
So I would like to make an iconoclast mc .
With what build I will experience the story and the companions better? One of the things I dont like is to have the same class as the companions. What would you recommend?
Please not answers of "play whatever you want" because I dont know what I want lmao.

Prepare for the cringe if you go Iconoclast.

Anyway I'd recommend Officer - Grand Strategist, bump up Fellowship, Ballistic Skill, Intelligent and Perception.
You are basically a leader + skill mon-keigh.

your build doesnt have too much effect on the story. just skills, which you can fill out with you party for the most part.

you're always going to have a little overlap with the companions.
there are
2 officers
3 operatives
3 Warriors
2 soldiers

for my first run i went an Imperial Guard/Fortress World + Soldier > Bounty Hunter and i can recommend it. Argenta is basically your only Soldier for most of the game and i was keeping pace with her pretty well. BH is more of a late bloomer archetype though, but Soldier and Fortress world is an insanely strong combo.
also went full iconoclast

You can do quite a lot of things that are naive and/or risk Chaos corruption if you just pick Iconoclast.

There's no consequence for any of them though hence the cringe.

As always be moderate and pick what you think is right.

Is there anything close to a space marine armor or whatever in the game?

There is both normal PA and SM PA.

You can equip the normal ones.

ah ok. Cause I was thinking a sanctic psyker/warrior build with the biggest two handed weapon and power armor full dogmatic. that was my initial build

sanctic is very strong so you could definitely make it work without power armour, u can get the power armour in act 4 if you max out drusians but might be better to use heavy armor then respec to power armor
