Dodge reduction with melee weapons - offhand knife
I ended up using main hand sword and off hand knife to get higher dodge reduction but when i remove main hand sword (main hand is empty) then dodge reduction jumps from 80 to 130, is this a bug or it actually makes sense to have only knife offhand (main hand knife drops it back to 80)

Running Noble with Noble Sword must be a noble way to play the game...

I've read that knives and daggers have an unlisted bonus, and actually grant a 50 point dodge reduction bonus. But it only applies to attacks made with that weapon itself. I've not tested it myself, however.

The dodge reduction displayed on the character sheet can be mostly ignored. It only displays the innate dodge reduction of the equipped weapon plus 30 (not to mention offhand dagger shenanigans). The actual dodge reduction of any attack can only be seen in combat log, because there are many, many factors affecting it that are not known until the attack happens, and it varies from target to target, round to round.

Daggers have an innate undocumented 50% bonus to dodge reduction that can only be seen when looking at the combat log.

Noble sword is bugged: at the cost of 1 extra AP for attacking, it is supposed to put a debuff on the enemy, and if that debuff is already present, increase the sword's damage based on the attacker's willpower.
In reality, the damage bonus is always applied, debuff or not, and what's worse, it is also applied to offhand attacks, negating the supposed disadvantage (extra AP cost of the attack). This makes offhand daggers very powerful with mainhand noble's sword, as their low damage is compensated by the bug, and they are almost undodgeable thanks to their innate bonus. Abuse at your own risk :)

Thanks - funny thing that i thought that as a noble wielding Noble Sword gave that bonus.

Noble Sword benefits from charge as well and AOO since then 2 AP attacks is not an issue - 3 AP area attack is really bad.

Anyway tried to start a thematic noble main char with only swords , Argenta on shotguns and flamethrowers.

Argenta is very good with ranged AOE attacks if you build her for it. Just keep in mind that both shotguns and flamethrowers only have ranged AOE attack and nothing else, in case you want to make her an archmilitant who needs to alternate attack types to build up versatility stacks.

I solved it by using a hand flamer with a bolt pistol, and a 2H shotgun as second weapon set, that way she has access to all ranged attack types (single shot, burst, AOE).
