I use 7-Zip which is free license download with more features than the one built into Windows. But the Windows one is all you need.
There is a Mod manager out there called Modfinder v1.4.7 last updated in December 2024 for Rogue Trader but I have not used it.
Personally I think learn the Manual process. Once you know it it is easy. Especially since WinZip is now history.
Won´t be long and you´ll be able to do it in seconds.
The installation instructions are on the mod description pages. Just follow them step by step and you´ll be fine.
Regarding zip files, today you simply double click on them like you would with any other folder you want to open. From there you can just copy the files or drag and drop them in the desired directory.
This is where Unity mods go. There are also Owlmods which are more common recently. They go in the /modifications folder and you need a config file to track them.
What you’re looking for is ModFinder. It gives you a list of mods and handles the installation and configuration for you. It’s nice because some mods need edits to a text file to install. You can find it on nexus in the RT section.
