how to begin DLC story?

do I have to start a new game with the DLC activated? Or can it be done in an ongoing game? I bought it near the end of act 1 and am now near the end of act 2 but as far as I can tell I haven't encountered DLC stuff

Did you activate it? Once you do the dlc content should start in your next warp jump

So, I was playing coop, and in coop there is no prompt to activate the DLC (or don't). I just loaded the game in singleplayer and could activate the DLC. This seems like quite the flub by the game devs.

Maybe every player in co-op should have the DLC for you to be able to activate it on the go?

i did a full docmatic run coop no problems with the dlc dont forget too visit the new rooms after u finish the prologue too activated it

All player in Co-Op have to have the DLC.

All players have the dlc. I just had to fire the save up in single player to activate the DLC
