Drifting Voidship Fights Are Badly Designed
Playing on Unfair difficulty, and these fights are actually just poorly designed and unbalanced. Every fight so far has been difficult but doable, but I've been stuck on this one for way too long.

Why do the Heralds of Corruption have INFINITE range??? I tried luring them out of the room with FOUR Heralds and funneling them into the corridor, but their buffs just go through walls? Because? No other attack in this game can do that except for them for some reason. Really fun design.

Last thing I want to do is turn down the difficulty but this fight is actually just ridiculous.

Kill the heralds first. Have Abelard glue all the servitors to himself with taunts. Pasqal can kill a herald in 2 hits with machine spirit banishment (sometimes 1, depending on exploits+tactical advantage stacks). Don't bother hitting anything else until the heralds are down.

I now routinely do it on first attempt on unfair with a party of just four. Like all fights, this one gets easier as you gain experience.

I can't even survive getting hit by the servitors is the thing. They crit on every single attack and do 45+ damage and one shot my guys every single time.

You need to build Abelard as a tank:
Vanguard.
Max toughness, and weaponskill.
Use a 2H sword (it has +10% parry chance, and hitting an enemy debuffs its weaponskill by 10 permanently, which is basically another +10% parry chance)
Duelist for +15% parry chance
Combat master so he does not suffer from enemy melee superiority (being surrounded does not matter to him)
Defensive stance (warrior talent) for extra armor if he does not attack
Defensive stance (vanguard ability) for more parry, and counterattacking melee opponenrs if he parries.

This last one is especially good, because the enemy servo-skulls give extra attacks to the servitors, which in turn gives extra counter-attacks to Abelard - he sometimes kills them passively even through the herald shield.

Im sure there's more, just look at the defensive options.
