more voice acting?
thinking about buying this next but hoping more of the game would be voiced. How long are they gonna continue adding voice to the game? I wanna play it now but I can wait and try some other CRPG's like Pillars and Wasteland

I would personally wait for the next expansion to release at this point. i would recommend Pillars they do an amazing job setting up the world.

Pillars of Eternity II was a kickstarter game and still manged full voice acting.
Besides the additional immersion, full voice acting does in fact have a practical effect: It forces the writers to write snappier, than to have characters drone on forever saying something in a dozen sentences, that could easily have been written in half a dozen.

Mod that will text 2 speech everything that's not voiced is on nexus mods rogue trader page.
You can do some good voices, gone are the robot voice stuff. This sounds 95% like real ppl.
Could be useful for those long blocks of lore

Just a very short video showing mod reading the main screen patch note, and in game item disc. and a short part of a conversation. I use 2 voices one for the person talking and one for the descriptive text.

it's not going to replace full voice overs but it's works well in owlcat games. This same mod also works for the pathfinder games.

re: the voice mod.
Most voices sound better when you set their speed to -1; it completely prevents the click-clipping distortion. 'Online' voices also do work when you follow the instructions and sound the best.
Voice acting is bad for RPG's. It limits the choices. It's how you end up with a lot of the modern RPG's where player choice is almost nonexistent.
