Existing save game... how to find / start lex imperalis?
I know the interwebs say Act 1.
Then it says 'existing saves' blah blah Dargon and stuff in 'act 2'.

Aside from leaving the first system which seems to be forever gone, I haven't gotten any notices from a delegation, I honestly don't know what "act" I'm in as there's a billion quests, rumors, contracts, oof.

So, my question is, since I'm busy already saving the universe, is there some actual simple thing for me to do to go find this guy or am I expected to start over, this is my first playthrough and to be honest it's already so time consuming that I doubt I'll ever do another.
(been at it for 6 months when I have time)

Thanks.

If you go to Footfall Solomorne should be in one of the docking bays, talking to him should start the questline

Not here in the docking area. Although there was new loot that wasn't here last time I was here.

Try checking your mansion on Dargonus.
Or maybe try going in Mundus Nullius system. There is where his first quest happens.

Try checking bar on Footfall. IIRC you meet him there after chapter 1.

I did that as well, wasn't there.

I noticed that the achievement for Dargonus isn't activated which is weird as I completed everything there and have like 10 projects completed on the colony.

I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not, so I guess I'm still in "act 2" because I see these achievements called "chapters" and 1 is done, but not 2.

It would be nice if there some something, anything, consistent and simple that simply allowed one to do things, but like everything it's got to be diving down a rat-hole investigating every single noodle in a pile of spaghetti.

It's getting so when I do have time to play a game, I'm forced to do the same thing I do all day long just to get things to work.

No idea why they made it so complex.
I've edited the post. Yup, disregard that, he shoud be in the docking area first.
But try options that i wrote then.

Oh cool, ty for the help, sorry i'm just worn out in general which is why If I come across as, well worn out then there you go.

I'll try;
Try checking your mansion on Dargonus.
Or maybe try going in Mundus Nullius system. There is where his first quest happens.
I am going to ask a dumb question to just be sure, you bought DLC 2 and have checked the box to use it in your game?

Yes, I wouldn't have even posted if I hadn't done that, but thanks.

Welp, not in the system and not at the palace / mansion.

I am at a loss at this point where this guy is and how to access him.
I guess this is why the DLC is getting such hate? I dunno but this is pretty bad.

Yes, I wouldn't have even posted if I hadn't done that, but thanks.

I asked because once someone thought they had the DLC on but they did not enable it.

I mean it's a valid enough question, wasn't trying to be snarky really.
The game even tells you at some point "If you want DLC you have to turn them on over here" or something so they did a good job of that from my perspective and after it downloaded I immediately did that for my save.

Just can't find the guy, maybe I'm not far enough along? I've established 6 colony worlds and the major three one's problems are solved. I'm not sure what "completes act 2" (or chapter 2 as it's called in steam achievements).
This is happening to me as well, i cannot find this guy anywhere and the quest doesn't start. I went to footfall, to Dargonus and checked everywhere. I have the vendor and the DLC items available, so the DLC is installed and working (i got the prompt to activate it once it came out) but he is nowhere to be found, and so it's quest... i submitted a bug report... i have no clue.

Same here, vender and what not, even have been getting drops for the class and the companion.

Methodically in fact went to every single system I've already explored (had the benefit of maximizing my extractums) and nothing.

So... Yea since I've been playing for six months and not even done (i guess?) with act 2 or whatever the heck it's actually called, I guess I'll just keep playing and maybe one day he will magically appear.

Ok this fixed itself for me. Not sure if it was the hotfix of today, or the fact that i continued thee story and finished all 3 planets questlines in act 2, but now i received the message while travelling... so it either will fix itself for you, or just finish the 3 planets and it should work, hope it helps
