Ending Companions Question / I just cant
I am restarting my run AGAIN just because I... well IDK but I'm thinking about "Would a Dogmatic person just no hesitation kill this companion?" I know about Ideria's quest where you get the option of Dogmatic or Iconoclast. I can not for the life of me bring myself to just off a companion even if they are a Xenos (Looking at you two elves)

How do you do it? How do you bring yourself to be forever down a story companion? Yeah, you can replace them with a custom companion but like... "Heinrix... get rid of these three" or "Finally I've been looking for a reason to shoot you." Is wild to me.

On my first few try's I did attempt to stick with one such as dogmatic but eventually gave up on it. What for? I asked my self. All I was doing was hating myself at some point in the game. It wasn't me. I don't want to role play this character.
Maybe in the future I will stick with one just to see where it takes me, but that time is not yet.
One time I gave Yrliet to Hendrix but then immediately loaded in a earlier save. I felt like a complete c***. She might be annoying but didn't deserve that.

You get over it. The game sweeps them under the rug pretty quickly. I had Argenta take out Idira when she was going nuts. I executed Yrliet after her stunt in act 3. Marzhai cannot be suffered to live after he outlives his usefulness; guy is a nutcase beyond being a xeno. I told Jae to leave after her revelation, but I do wonder what executing her would look like.

i tend to rp the character so its down to how i percieve my character that decides things like if someone dies, prolly doesnt max dogmatic but i dont really care about min maxing ideologies over my own fun

It comes a bit down to what I play as dogmatic, do I go down the path of a puritan, or a radical. As a radical as long as they're useful I keep them, even Yrliet after her betrayal in act 3 , it's more a pragmatical play then. As a puritan they won't likely survive their first encounter with me and if they should they will need to be extra careful.
The heretical run is where they would wish to be dead, instead of what fate awaits them in that case, they're most often far worse off in them.
