Void Shadows activation
So I'm in my first playthrough and have Void Shadows disabled because, even though I'm gonna sound cocky, I play at max difficulty with Grim Darkness enabled and was expecting to lose relatively quickly. I wanted to get a general feel of the game and just restart whenever I happened to ♥♥♥♥ up. But so far it is going quite well and I don't see myself losing anytime soon, so I'm feeling a bit of regret not enabling Void Shadows.
The question is: I noticed that I can turn it on in the DLC options, so if I do it will it trigger normally as if I had it enabled from the start? If it is relevant, I'm still in the early game, just got my 6th party member.

It should if you're still in act 1, otherwise as far I have heard there is no problem activating it later on you would just miss some parts of it, as long as you activate it before act 5.

You can activate it in any act except the last one, tho i would advice to start it as early as possible to experience more natural progression.

Also I wouldn't recommend to start your first run on grim darkness. Not because you will eventually lose (you can still continue your run even after losing, just not in grim darkness mode) but because you can't reload saves to change dialogues/outcomes

Thanks to both!
And about the Grim Darkness, that's the point xd I like the idea of dealing with the ♥♥♥♥ you created otherwise I'm just gonna funnel every playthrough to be the same, but thanks for the advice.

Yes, I would activate it ASAP as to me it added a lot of good background for understanding the W40K universe and how it is represented in the game.
I hope the next DLC adds just as much.
