Blood Feather's hunt/

Is there something I'm missing to pass the story about Blood Feather's hunt? I don't see any real info about it either. No matter which options I take Blood Feather kills his prey and a game over follows.

Do you mean the book event in act 3? You need to succeed one of the last test or you will have a game over.

You also need to examine each of the sites where you see him as you're wandering around, and pass a test each time, to gather info that helps pass the book thing.
