Game making my computer freeze

I just got rogue trader as a christmas present been trying to play but everytime I play a few minutes in my sound cuts out and my computer freezes and has to be unplugged or force turned off by the power button. This is the only game that does this my computer is well above the specs recommended. No idea what's going on does anyone know potential fixes?

I have already put things on lowest setting, tried reinstalling, and verifying files.

If you have no mods then this is the first thing I would try. It causes more issues then it says, one of them is freezing.

3) Mouse cursor is lagging every few seconds, strange clicking sounds from headphones or on records from the microphone.

It's an old Unity engine bug with some peripherals, that persists through all our games.

Can be fixed by searching and deleting the file called Rewired_DirectInput.dll from the game directory.
