AFTER KILLING SIRE
THERE ARE LEFT OVER CULTISTS "CIVILIANS" FROM INFECTED GENESTEELER CULTISTS. NORMALLY I WOULD SPARE THEM. BUT THEESE ARE GENESTEELERS INFECTED CIVILIANS AND SOONER OR LATER THEY WILL SPAWN ANOTHER MAGUS OR GENESTEELERS AND ANOTHER SIRE.
WHAT PEOPLE RECOMEND. DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO THEM IN THE ENDING SLIDES.

yes even on an empty planet they eventually birth all they need to call the tyranid hive fleets to Koronus Expanse. So it seems that it is kill time.

Yup, that's the whole thing. They don't know what the end game is just that they have to make it happen.

Purge the Xenos.

I kind of feel for the infected, but genesteelers themselves don't know the endgame and are as horrifed as anyone of the endgame(look at space marine 2 first part to see the endgame of genesteeler infestation) and will try to flee.
Add to the fact they can birth the infected forms in further generations and genesteelers are tailor made for dogmatic choices.
But was wondering of ending slides if you spare them.
How is this even a question? Do you want more nids running around?

Well that was the iconoclast option of the end of the main quest of the DLC. And I try to play as goody too shoe for most of my decisions, and only when it is dumb I go dogmatic.

Iconoclast is just good in a dumb way sometimes.

There's a reason why "exterminatus" is a thing in 40K.

I knew it, I am all iconoclast believe me, but reading so much lore and fanfic and knowing how genestealers work is just insane. They will invite a bloody splinter fleet should they be allowed to live without a doubt. So I did what's normal, burn the mutant and alien. It's a fool that lets a genestealer cultists to live

Yeah, I tried an iconoclast run, and it just made me sympathise more with imperial choices lol

I do prefer the look of the iconoclast bridge look thou.

IMHO it's a good sign in the context of the 40k universe when the dogmatic decisions make you want to play iconoclast and iconoclast decisions make you want to play dogmatic.

(And screw heretic, the universe is bad enough)

This is one of the few cases where the game does not reward Iconoclast choices without any severe consequences. In a lot of cases, you can just find workarounds to problems like there's no bother at all. Thankfully, this is not the case for this scenario. The guy tells you "naaaaah they are not infected, they won't do anything", so the Iconoclast option is "sure, I will let them be" - so they can start another cult and possibly call a hive fleet in the future. That being said, knowing that they can and absolutely will do so, is meta in the context it is given. Which is cool, because even without full knowledge of how genestealer cults work -which you have as the player, would the rogue trader really take this stupid risk?

You also have Henrix that should know and tell you.
I never understood why choosing to spare them and drop them on a planet is considered an Iconoclastic choice, it is a choice that dooms other people to be eaten. The Genestealer cults dont actually differential between oppressed and oppressor, they eat everything eventually.

Yeah, I tried to be the nice guy and give everyone guns. I'm not making that mistake again. Everyone is going out the airlock.
