Can this quest be progressed without the Astropath Ritual. Zach is guilt tripping me so damn hard about it lol.

I hear you, I wanted to avoid it as well. But I'm playing Grimdark so I knew if I refused, there's a chance I'd fail the quest, lock myself out of content and couldn't reload to change it, so I did the ritual despite myself.

So this fight is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous. What am I missing? Playing on Hard and my party is level 24. Nothing in the game has remotely been as hard as this.
