Leaving Suspicious Rash uncured as Heretical
Completed the freight line stuff, made diseases fester in the bowels of my voidship and have the Suspicious Rash for a trophy. So far, so good. Now... I'm aware of how to *cure* it on my rogue trader. But I don't want to.

Rather, I'm curious if there are unique dialogue options upon leaving the disease alone. Would be a nice way to honour Grandfather Nurgle, if that's the case. Anyone tried doing so?

From a purely roleplaying perspective(I don't know how much it's reflected in the game, if at all): In the Heretic path, the RT's patron is a Greater Daemon of Tzeentch, and as far as I understand, in the lore, Tzeentch and Nurgle are each others main rivals among the Chaos Gods. So, at least in my mind, it makes sense for the RT to be more recalcitrant about giving Nurgle much more than the occasional nod, compared to Khorne or Slaanesh.

On the other hand, the Heretical option for the fate of the Freight Line is all about paving the way for rot and decay, which is primarily Nurgle's domain.

Strictly speaking, Heretical in this game is (or at least "was" in non-DLC times) about Chaos Undivided. The Rogue Trader blesses NPC's left right and center with powers of multiple Chaos Gods. That way you can convert Hieronymus Doloroso towards the embrace of Nurgle for instance.

Still rocking my diseased Rogue Trader to see if there's more to the Suspicious Rash. Almost done with chapter 2. So far, this supposedly highly volatile disease stayed the same. Not curing it just yet tho,

The RT's patron, The Edge of Daybreak, is and always was a Greater Daemon of Tzeentch. Specifically, a Lord of Change. In terms of choices available in-game however, the Heretical RT isn't showing any particular preference towards any one of the Chaos Gods, that much is certainly true.

I did not know this was even a possibility. I did not even consider that it could be possible.

you can also encourage winterdude to worship khorn, and send slaanesh food to footfall

I just beat the game with the disease as heretical rank 5. There was nothing I could remember besides them saying the doctor could fix it. I can't speak on the ending slides because I used this last run to knock off the C'tan ending achievement which seems to be very unique and dominating result.
